This workshop will provide Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms with a practical understanding of Commercially Useful Function (CUF) requirements, a critical compliance element under state and federal regulations. Performing a CUF is essential for DBE participation to count toward project goals, and noncompliance can result in lost credit, contract issues, or even decertification.
Participants will learn:
What a Commercially Useful Function means under 49 CFR Part 26.
How CUF determinations are made during project performance
Common pitfalls that can jeopardize CUF compliance
Best practices for documenting and demonstrating that your firm is performing a CUF
This workshop is free of charge. Registration for all SBA workshops is available through the link below. You will receive an email with the MS Teams link for the workshop(s) you registered for, following registration processing.
